Adjunct Math Instructor (Dual Enrollment)

About the role

Under general supervision, the Adjunct Math Instructor provides associate‑level mathematics instruction to students, prepares syllabi and lesson plans, and develops program goals and objectives. The role includes teaching dual‑enrollment courses at Jones County High School and may involve day, evening, or online classes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mathematics instruction, prepare course materials, and assess student performance.
• Maintain accurate grade books, records, and inventory of assigned properties.
• Participate in professional development, adhere to TCSG policies, and travel within the college’s service area as needed.
• Serve as lead instructor when required, providing mentorship to other adjunct faculty.

Required profile

• Earned master’s degree in mathematics (or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in mathematics) from an accredited institution.
• Submission of a complete application packet including resume, transcripts, and any required qualification forms.
• Preference given to candidates with documented post‑secondary teaching experience.
