Adjunct Math Faculty

About the role

The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope‑Texarkana is seeking an Adjunct Math Faculty member to teach college and pre‑college level mathematics courses across its Hope and Texarkana campuses. This part‑time, non‑tenure‑track position supports student success through instruction, advising, and collaboration with campus staff.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and pre‑college mathematics courses, including evening and weekend sections as needed.
• Provide academic advising to students pursuing mathematics or related programs.
• Collaborate with math faculty, the dean, tutoring staff, and other college personnel to enhance student outcomes.
• Participate in departmental and university committees.
• Engage in professional development activities to stay current with pedagogical practices.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Completion of at least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline.
• Willingness to teach at either the Hope or Texarkana campus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
