Adjunct Lecturer of Social Work

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock seeks an Adjunct Lecturer to teach Social Work courses. The role involves delivering curriculum to undergraduate and graduate students both on‑campus and online, fostering academic growth and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate Social Work courses on campus and/or online.
• Develop and deliver course materials in line with the approved syllabus.
• Provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
• Hold regular office hours and virtual meetings to support student learning.
• Maintain classroom records and comply with university policies.

Required profile

• Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE‑accredited program or a related field.
• Willingness to teach both on‑site and online (synchronous or asynchronous) courses.
• At least two years of professional social work practice.
• Eligibility for LCSW licensure in Arkansas (or current LCSW).
• Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level is preferred.
