About the role
Saint Louis University seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to join its CADE Periodontics Clinic. This part‑time position involves teaching dental students, providing patient care, and supporting the clinic’s research initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, seminars, and clinical instruction in periodontics.
- Supervise and treat patients in the university clinic setting.
- Participate in research projects and scholarly activities related to periodontology.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to university policies.
- Collaborate with full‑time faculty and staff to enhance curriculum and patient services.
Required profile
- Dental degree (DDS or DMD) with specialization or advanced training in periodontics.
- Current licensure to practice dentistry in the United States.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor dental students.
- Commitment to academic excellence, research, and patient care.
Required skills
- Clinical expertise in periodontics.
- Teaching and curriculum development.
- Research methodology and scholarly writing.
