Accounting Manager – Hybrid (130K‑140K + Bonus)

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to lead our accounting function in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented service organization based in Irving, TX. The role combines hands‑on accounting expertise with team leadership, focusing on accurate financial reporting and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Lead monthly and annual close processes, performing reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Ensure financial reporting accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Manage revenue recognition, accruals, and expense allocations in a high‑volume environment.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff while staying involved in day‑to‑day activities.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve discrepancies and enhance reporting quality.
• Support audit activities and respond to external audit requests.
• Assist with ERP system management, enhancements, and implementations.
• Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial close processes.
• CPA or CPA‑eligible preferred.
• Experience in high‑volume or operational environments is a plus.
