Accounting Manager & Controller

About the role

Seaside Plumbing is seeking an Accounting Manager & Controller to provide financial clarity and leadership for a growing plumbing company. This high‑accountability position oversees all core accounting functions and supports strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting and controller operations.
• Ensure AR, AP, payroll, cash management, and related processes are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare and present financial reports in a clear, easy‑to‑understand format.
• Deliver accurate and timely monthly financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Analyze financial performance and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Coordinate with outside tax and accounting professionals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax requirements.
• Help improve processes, systems, and controls as the company grows.
• Serve as a trusted financial resource to leadership.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of QuickBooks Desktop experience.
• 2–3 years of management experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
