Account Manager – Vision Care Sales

About the role
Alcon is seeking an Account Manager to grow revenue for its vision care portfolio in the Indianapolis territory. You will partner with eye‑care practitioners, promote innovative products, and match solutions to the needs of doctors and patients.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and expand relationships with eye‑care professionals while executing strategic sales plans.
- Identify customer needs and set clear objectives for each sales interaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create executional plans that meet both customer and organizational goals.
- Implement marketing initiatives for specific products to drive adoption and change customer behavior.
- Track and achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas, as well as call metrics and compliance requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., high school + 10 years, associate + 6 years, M.S.).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in vision care or a related medical field.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Required skills
- Strong customer‑focused communication and relationship‑building.
- Ability to adapt sales approach in real time to shifting situations.
- Effective decision‑making, planning, and prioritization.
