Access Coordinator III – Women's Clinic

About the role

The Access Coordinator III supports the Women's Clinic by managing patient access processes, ensuring smooth scheduling, insurance verification, and coordination of care. This position plays a critical role in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered services within a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow‑up visits for the Women's Clinic.
• Verify insurance eligibility, obtain authorizations, and resolve billing issues.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the Workday system.
• Liaise with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to streamline patient flow.
• Provide timely communication to patients regarding scheduling, documentation, and clinic policies.
• Generate reports and track access metrics to support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience in healthcare access, scheduling, or medical administration.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
