4‑Week Visiting Medical Student Clinical Rotation

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) offers a four‑week clinical rotation for visiting medical students. This onsite experience provides hands‑on exposure to a diverse, collaborative health‑care environment while supporting the institution’s mission to improve patient care and education.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily clinical rounds and observe patient care activities.
• Assist supervised health‑care professionals with basic clinical tasks.
• Complete required documentation and educational assignments.
• Adhere to UAMS safety policies, including COVID‑19 vaccination requirements or approved exemptions.

Required profile

• Current enrollment in an accredited medical school.
• Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of the rotation.
• Proof of full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption.
• Ability to commit to a continuous four‑week onsite schedule.
