Zone Operations Manager - Automotive Refinish - West

About the role

We are seeking a Zone Operations Manager for our Automotive Refinish business in the Western United States. The role is field‑based, includes a company car, and requires the candidate to reside near a major metropolitan area or airport in the West. You will partner closely with the Zone Sales Manager to drive operational excellence across the zone.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor a team of Technical Representatives and Business Development Managers.
• Set clear performance goals, provide ongoing feedback and develop individual development plans.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Manage deal creation and submission processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee internal financial requests, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Support customer engagement and distributor relationships to deliver superior service.
• Partner with sales leadership and Human Resources to proactively manage team performance and drive growth.

Required profile

• Must live near a major metropolitan area or airport in the Western United States.
• Proven experience leading technical and business development teams in a B2B environment.
• Strong understanding of automotive refinish products and market dynamics.
• Excellent organizational and financial management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field‑based role with frequent travel.
