Zone Operations Manager – Automotive Refinish (West)

About the role

We are seeking a Zone Operations Manager to lead our Automotive Refinish team across the western United States. This field‑based position includes a company car and requires residence near a major metropolitan area or airport in the West.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor Technical Representatives and Business Development Managers.
• Set performance goals, provide feedback, and develop talent plans.
• Manage deal creation and submission processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee internal financial requests, ensuring compliance with policies and budgets.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize workflows, pricing, and promotional programs.
• Monitor KPIs, implement corrective actions, and drive operational efficiency.
• Support the Zone Sales Manager in maintaining strong distributor and customer relationships.
• Engage with end‑users when needed to resolve operational issues and strengthen brand loyalty.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare accurate reports on deal submissions, financial requests, and team performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical and business development teams in a regional or zone setting.
• Strong understanding of automotive refinish products and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field‑based environment.
