Youth Sports Instructor (Preschool Coach)

About the role

Amazing Athletes is a children's sports and fitness program serving children ages 1.5-12, offering a fun and educational environment where kids learn the fundamentals of sports and develop teamwork, communication and perseverance. It is looking for a Preschool Sports Coach to lead active sports classes for preschoolers in its Northern Colorado team (Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor, Greeley). This is a part-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct and lead age-appropriate sports classes for preschoolers and elementary-aged athletes in a fun and safe environment.
• Motivate and engage children using positive reinforcement and creative teaching techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
• Set up and take down equipment for classes.
• Maintain a high level of safety and organization during all classes.

Required profile

• Experience working with young children is preferred.
• Strong enthusiasm for sports and children's education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a fun and encouraging learning environment.
• Must pass background checks required for working with children.
• At least 18 years old, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• No prior coaching experience required; training will be provided.
