Youth Sports Instructor

About the role

Amazing Athletes teaches children the fundamentals of a variety of sports in a fun, supportive environment, covering soccer, basketball, baseball and more for children from toddlers through elementary school. As a Youth Sports Instructor you will lead engaging sports classes, introducing young athletes to essential skills while emphasising teamwork and fair play. No mastery of every sport is required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are enough.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct energetic, engaging sports classes for children aged 1 and up
• Teach the fundamentals of various sports and implement age-appropriate drills and activities
• Foster a positive, supportive environment that builds self-confidence and teamwork
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and experiences
• Collaborate with fellow instructors to uphold the company's mission and values

Required profile

• Passion for sports, fitness and working with children
• Experience in coaching, teaching or instructing youth is preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent communication skills with children and parents
• Reliability, professionalism and punctuality
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Flexible availability, including mornings, afternoons and weekends
• Ability to pass a background check

What we offer

• Pay: Assistant Coach $18-$22 per hour, Lead Coach $25-$30 per hour depending on experience
