About the role

The World Language Teacher – French will design and deliver engaging French language instruction to a diverse student body. Working under the Building Principal, the teacher creates a supportive environment that promotes intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement instructional units aligned with district curriculum and goals.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, assessments, and compliance with state and district regulations.
• Analyze student data to tailor instruction and improve outcomes.
• Establish and enforce classroom routines, management strategies, and a safe learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with guidance counselors, special‑education staff, and external resources to support students with diverse needs.
• Integrate appropriate technology to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
• Supervise students in various school settings and communicate regularly with parents and staff.

Required profile

• Valid teaching certification/license for French language instruction.

• Ability to maintain compliance with district, state, and federal education policies.
• Willingness to participate in required safety‑care or crisis‑prevention training.
