World Language Teacher – French

About the role

The World Language Teacher – French will work under the direction of the Building Principal to design and deliver engaging French language instruction for students. The role focuses on creating a supportive learning environment that promotes intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver instructional lessons aligned with district curriculum and goals.
• Maintain accurate student records, assessments, and reports in compliance with state and district policies.
• Analyze student performance data to inform and adapt instruction.
• Establish and uphold classroom routines, procedures, and effective management strategies.
• Collaborate with guidance counselors, special‑education staff, and external resources to support diverse learner needs.
• Integrate appropriate technology to enhance instruction.
• Supervise students in various school settings and ensure a safe learning environment.

Required profile

• Valid teaching licensure/certification for French language instruction as required by the district.
• Ability to develop and modify instructional plans to meet the needs of all students.
• Commitment to maintaining compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, parents, staff, and the community.
