About the role

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Workshop Manager to lead the rebuild and repair operations at its Elko, NV facility. The role focuses on delivering efficient, customer‑oriented workshop services while supporting the broader Sandvik USA region.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and develop workshop rebuild operations aligned with business strategy and customer needs.
• Allocate resources to meet utilization, production targets and capacity requirements.
• Create business plans for new projects or expansion of existing services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities.
• Implement lean, efficient processes and strong project management practices.
• Manage inventory, workshop utilization, capacity and financial controls.
• Hire, coach, train, evaluate and lead workshop personnel.
• Ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery of rebuild and repair projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing workshop or repair operations in an industrial setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
