WorkForce Software (WFS) Solutions Architect

About the role

Next Generation Inc is seeking a WorkForce Software (WFS) Solutions Architect to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of time, attendance, and labor scheduling solutions. This hybrid role partners with HR, Payroll, Operations, and IT teams to deliver scalable, compliant workforce management platforms for a global organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and end‑to‑end implementation of WorkForce Software (EmpCenter, WorkForce Suite) solutions.
• Gather business requirements from HR, Payroll, Operations, and IT stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design scalable, configurable solutions that meet organizational and compliance needs.
• Configure and customize WFS modules such as Time & Attendance, Absence Management, and Advanced Scheduling.
• Plan and execute time‑clock/kiosk implementations, including device provisioning and rollout across sites.
• Provide oversight to implementation teams and act as primary liaison with WorkForce Software support.
• Integrate WFS with ERP, payroll, and HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ADP, Workday, SuccessFactors).
• Lead testing activities (SIT, UAT) and ensure go‑live readiness.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of solution designs, configurations, and integration flows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT or HR technology roles, with at least 3–5 years focused on WorkForce Software solution design and implementation.
• Strong functional knowledge of workforce management processes, including time tracking, scheduling, leave management, and compliance.
• Proven experience integrating WFS with ERP, payroll, and HR systems.

Required skills

• WorkForce Software (EmpCenter, WorkForce Suite) configuration and rules writing.
• Integration experience with SAP, Oracle, ADP.
• Integration experience with Workday and SuccessFactors.
• Time‑clock/kiosk implementation and device provisioning.
