WorkForce Software QA Analyst (Time Clocks & Timekeeping)

About the role

Next Generation Inc is seeking a WorkForce Software QA Analyst focused on time clocks and time‑keeping solutions. The role ensures the quality of WorkForce Software implementations, enhancements, and integrations, with particular attention to employee time‑collection devices. The position is remote, with occasional travel to client sites for testing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for WorkForce Software projects.
• Validate functionality of physical time clocks, biometric devices, badge readers, web clocks, and mobile clocking solutions.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user‑acceptance testing.
• Test employee punches, schedules, pay rules, attendance policies, exceptions, and accrual processing.
• Validate integrations with payroll, HR systems, and time‑collection devices.
• Identify, document, and track defects, supporting their resolution.
• Analyze time‑keeping and attendance data for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with analysts, consultants, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Support software upgrades, patches, and configuration changes through all testing phases.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations, union agreements, and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
• 3+ years of experience testing WorkForce Software or similar workforce‑management solutions.
• Strong understanding of time‑keeping processes and related regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
