Workers’ Compensation/Medicare Compliance Attorney

About the role

Marshall Dennehey is seeking a Workers’ Compensation and Medicare Compliance Attorney to join its growing Medicare Compliance group within the Workers’ Compensation Department. The role can be based in either the Philadelphia or King of Prussia office and offers a pathway to develop litigation expertise under close mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with employers, adjusters, and attorneys on Medicare issues related to workers’ compensation cases.
• Educate clients on proper handling of Medicare set‑asides and structured settlements.
• Provide guidance to firm attorneys on best practices and case‑resolution strategies.
• Perform conditional payment searches and prepare Medicare submissions for set‑aside approval.
• Draft Medicare language for settlement documents and related filings.

Required profile

• 1 to 4 years of experience in workers’ compensation, Medicare compliance, or related litigation.
• Strong analytical, legal writing, and communication abilities.
• Willingness to learn and grow under the mentorship of experienced shareholders and associates.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality client service and collaborative teamwork.
