About the role

Marshall Dennehey, P.C. is seeking a Workers' Compensation Attorney with 5‑10 years of litigation experience to join its growing Workers’ Compensation Department in Jacksonville, Florida. The role offers the chance to litigate complex, high‑exposure claims while receiving mentorship from experienced shareholders and associates.

Key responsibilities

• Litigate a broad range of workers’ compensation claims, including repetitive trauma, occupational disease, death, and hearing loss cases.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate closely with senior shareholders and associates to develop case strategy and receive mentorship.
• Maintain client communication and manage case files across multiple industries such as construction, manufacturing, technology, health care, retail, and education.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of litigation experience in workers’ compensation or related civil defense matters.
• Strong analytical thinking, legal writing, research, and communication abilities.

• Bar admission in Florida (or ability to become admitted).
