About the role

Marshall Dennehey, a nationally recognized Am Law 200 civil defense firm, is expanding its Workers’ Compensation Department in Pittsburgh. The firm seeks a motivated attorney with 1‑4 years of litigation experience to handle complex workers’ compensation claims across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Litigate a variety of workers’ compensation claims, including repetitive trauma, occupational disease, death, and hearing loss.
• Collaborate with senior shareholders and associates to develop case strategy and courtroom tactics.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and participate in discovery.
• Interact with clients from construction, manufacturing, technology, health care, retail, education, and other sectors.

Required profile

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
• 1‑4 years of litigation experience, preferably in workers’ compensation or related civil defense.
• Strong analytical thinking, legal writing, research, and communication abilities.
• Commitment to professional growth and collaborative teamwork.
