Women's Athletic Manager (Federal Work‑Study)

About the role

The Women's Basketball Office at South Georgia Technical College is seeking a Federal Work‑Study student to support game‑day and team operations. This role offers hands‑on experience in collegiate athletics, working directly with the women's basketball program.

Key responsibilities

• Film basketball games and manage video recordings.
• Set up the gym for practices and games, including equipment arrangement.
• Wash and maintain team jerseys.
• Operate the game clock during contests.
• Assist with equipment handling and other team‑related duties as assigned.
• Travel with the team to all away games and be available for night and weekend work.

Required profile

• Enrolled for the Fall Semester 2026 with at least six credit hours.
• Approved for Federal Student Aid for the 2026‑2027 award year.
• Eligible for the Federal Work‑Study program and in satisfactory academic progress.
• Pass a criminal background check and complete all required employment paperwork.
• Flexible availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and travel.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $10.00.
• Up to 20 work hours per week, not exceeding 225 hours per semester.
