Winter Lift Operator - Woodward Park City

About the role

Woodward Park City, a year-round action sports resort about 20 minutes from Salt Lake City, is hiring Winter Lift Operators for the 2026/27 season. This outdoor, guest-facing role keeps the lifts running safely and helps guests load and unload, maintaining safe and organized lift areas. It suits people who enjoy working outside, staying focused in a fast pace and bringing a friendly, team-first attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Operate chairlifts and surface lifts safely, following company procedures, training protocols and safety standards.
• Assist guests with loading and unloading, including first-time or less experienced riders.
• Monitor lift areas, manage lines and communicate safety or operational concerns.
• Support snow removal, lift-area cleanliness, equipment organization and daily opening or closing tasks.
• Work with Lift Operations, Lift Maintenance and other departments to keep daily operations smooth.

Required profile

• Able to work outdoors in winter conditions for extended periods.
• Dependable, safety-minded and able to stay alert in a fast-paced mountain environment.
• Friendly communicator who enjoys helping guests of all ages and experience levels.
• Skiing or snowboarding ability is preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to bend, twist, push, pull and stand for long periods, and to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older.

The schedule is seasonal, with full-time and part-time positions available, working weekends, holidays, evenings and peak periods as needed, depending on business needs and weather.
