Windows/Mac IT Desktop Support – Incident Technician

About the role

Join a leading global IT services firm as a Windows/Mac IT Desktop Support Incident Technician. You will serve as the primary point of contact for end‑users, ensuring smooth operation of both Windows and macOS environments within a fast‑paced financial services setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site deskside support for Windows and Mac PCs, handling hardware and software incidents.
• Manage device lifecycle tasks, including inventory, shipping, receiving, and asset tracking.
• Utilize Intune, SCCM (MECM), and JAMF for patch management and endpoint configuration.
• Support remote connections, virtual machine setups, and troubleshoot issues via tools such as N‑Able and Bomgar.
• Participate in rotating on‑call rotation, including after‑hours and weekend coverage.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of deskside support experience with both Mac and Windows platforms.
• U.S. citizenship or work authorization; sponsorship not available.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple incidents simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for effective end‑user assistance.

Required skills

• Mac and Windows operating systems.
• Microsoft Intune, SCCM (MECM), JAMF.
• Remote support tools: N‑Able, Bomgar.
• Patch management and device asset tracking.
• Desktop hardware break/fix and software diagnostics.
• Support tools: WebEx, Jabber, ticketing systems.
• Experience with remote connections and virtual machine environments.
