Wind Turbine Technician II – Maintenance & Repair

About the role

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician II to join its skilled maintenance team in Oklahoma. The role focuses on the assembly, testing, repair and preventive maintenance of wind turbine generators and related equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct safety analyses and adhere to industry regulations and established protocols.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Accurately document all maintenance activities to track performance trends.
• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures.
• Support root cause analyses for equipment failures.
• Collaborate with engineers and field teams to improve turbine reliability and efficiency.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of wind turbine technician experience or equivalent electrical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a U.S. passport.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and climb 300‑ft ladders.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Hands‑on problem solving in fast‑paced environments.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of medium and high‑voltage equipment (preferred).

What we offer

• Base pay $28–$38 per hour, plus on‑call pay.
• 5 % annual performance bonus and 5 % availability bonus.
