Western Regional Vice President of Operations

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Western Regional Vice President of Operations to lead our recovery facilities across the western United States. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations, you will partner with Site CEOs to drive operational excellence, financial performance, and high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Support Site CEOs in achieving full operational and financial performance, including budget oversight, expense approvals, and revenue optimization.
• Analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and implement improvement plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to Site CEOs, fostering effective leadership teams across medical, nursing, clinical, and support services.
• Ensure alignment with corporate vision on admissions, staffing, business development, and financial services.
• Oversee compliance with state regulations, Joint Commission standards, insurance requirements, licensing, patient rights, and ASAM criteria.
• Assist in audit preparation and execution of corrective action plans for state and Joint Commission audits.
• Guide implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures, addressing gaps as needed.
• Support staff onboarding, training, continuing education, and supervision to build high‑performing teams.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in healthcare operations or a related behavioral health setting.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop executive‑level leaders.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting operational and financial data.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, including state licensing, Joint Commission, and ASAM standards.
• Commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
