Wellness Specialist

About the role

The Wellness Specialist joins Discovery Land Company’s Atlantic Fields Club in Hobe Sound, FL, to create memorable health and fitness experiences for members and guests. Working seasonally from October to May, you will be the first point of contact in the Wellness Center, delivering hospitality, leading classes, and supporting recovery services.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests with genuine hospitality, learn their names, preferences, and wellness goals.
• Manage the reception desk: check‑ins, appointment scheduling, class reservations, and phone inquiries.
• Lead group fitness classes and wellness programs, ensuring safe equipment use.
• Conduct personalized training sessions tailored to individual objectives.
• Promote and explain fitness, personal training, recovery services, and wellness offerings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting wellness environment.
• Assist with membership purchases, wellness‑related questions, and daily schedule coordination.

Required profile

• Passion for health, fitness, and delivering exceptional member experiences.
• Strong hospitality mindset and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Flexibility to work seasonal full‑time hours (October‑May).
• Relevant fitness certifications are encouraged.

Required skills

• Fitness certification (e.g., ACE, NASM) or equivalent credential.
