Wellness Programs Manager

About the role

The Seattle LGBTQ+ Center is seeking a Wellness Programs Manager to lead its Mental Health and Harm Reduction services. This exempt, full‑time position (40 hours/week) works evenings and weekends to ensure high‑quality, affirming care for the community.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support a multidisciplinary Wellness Programs team, including healthcare navigators, interns, and program coordinators.
• Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings, performance evaluations, and professional development planning.
• Coordinate staff schedules, vacation, leave, and act as Manager on Duty for crisis intervention and de‑escalation.
• Partner with the Director of Health Services to recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new staff.
• Oversee program implementation, grant and contract alignment, budget monitoring, compliance, and reporting.
• Provide case consultation, support group facilitation, care coordination, and referrals.
• Develop and deliver training opportunities for team members.

Required profile

• Experience in managing mental health, harm reduction, or related community health programs.
• Proven ability to supervise staff and foster an affirming, community‑centered work environment.
• Strong organizational skills for scheduling, budget oversight, and compliance monitoring.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for crisis intervention, case consultation, and stakeholder collaboration.
