About the role

The State of Georgia, through Wiregrass Georgia Technical College, seeks a qualified Welding Adjunct Instructor (BHI) to teach evening welding technology courses on a part‑time basis. Key responsibilities

• Deliver instruction for welding technology courses during evening classes.
• Apply effective teaching techniques and maintain accurate grade books and records.
• Assess student performance through testing, grading, and feedback.
• Follow the approved course syllabus and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Prepare and submit reports, invoices, and maintain inventory of assigned equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in a relevant teaching discipline with verifiable credentials, OR equivalent teaching competencies, OR in‑field welding certifications, OR at least three years of practical welding experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written forms.
• Commitment to supporting under‑represented and non‑traditional student groups.
