About the role

The Welcome Center Office Manager oversees the daily operations of the front desk at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. This position ensures smooth visitor flow, manages communications, and supports students as they connect with College Navigators and campus services.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front‑desk activities, including visitor check‑in, scheduling, and departure processes.
• Handle main‑line communications (phone, email, and text) for the Welcome Center.
• Maintain and update student contact lists and coordinate outreach messaging campaigns.
• Support enrollment and retention initiatives through targeted student communications.
• Collaborate with the Director of Academic Services and other campus departments to align services with student needs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in clerical or administrative support, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with students, staff, and visitors.
