Web Manager – McCourt School of Public Policy

About the role

The Web Manager will lead the online presence of Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy. Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will ensure the school’s website and related digital properties are functional, accessible, and aligned with strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update the McCourt website using the university’s WordPress platform.
• Implement accessibility (Section 508) standards and monitor compliance.
• Optimize site speed, SEO, and overall performance.
• Produce and manage web content, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
• Track analytics (GA4, Siteimprove) and provide regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with the McCourt Strategic Communications team, academic faculty, and university IT services.

Required profile

• Experience in web management for higher‑education or nonprofit organizations.
• Strong understanding of user experience design and digital communication.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with stakeholders and technical teams.
