Web Developer – WordPress & Squarespace Migration (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to lead the migration of a client sub‑domain into our main website. The role is remote, US‑based, and will work closely with engineering, product, marketing, and creative teams to deliver a seamless, high‑quality user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the migration of a subdomain into the primary website experience.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to ensure technical alignment.
• Implement updated designs, messaging, and content alongside a contract writer and designer.
• Develop scalable website structures and workflows that empower the marketing team.
• Maintain and optimize WordPress and Squarespace environments for stability, responsiveness, accessibility, and performance.
• Troubleshoot migration‑related technical issues, including CMS functionality, redirects, templates, and page performance.
• Advise on best practices, technical feasibility, and implementation strategy throughout the project.
• Support SEO and content migration considerations during implementation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional web development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with both WordPress and Squarespace.
• Proven track record leading complex website migrations and CMS transitions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, marketing, and creative stakeholders.
