Web Developer (Growth & Conversion Optimization)

About the role

Clay is looking for a Web Developer who will focus on growth and conversion optimization. You will create high‑performing web experiences, integrate them with our marketing stack, and continuously improve conversion rates through data‑driven experimentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch landing pages, funnels, and website features in Webflow, including custom JavaScript for interactive elements.
• Architect and implement integrations, APIs, webhooks, and automation that connect Webflow with CRM, analytics, and marketing automation tools.
• Build and maintain production‑grade code that is scalable, maintainable, and robust.
• Develop A/B testing frameworks, experimentation infrastructure, and personalization engines to drive systematic conversion improvements.
• Analyze funnel data, identify bottlenecks, and translate insights into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience building web experiences in Webflow or similar visual development platforms.
• Strong ability to work quickly from brief to production‑ready code while maintaining quality.
• Experience with API integration, middleware development, and event‑tracking architectures.
• Data‑oriented mindset with a focus on measurable impact on conversion metrics.
