Web Content Strategist

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking a seasoned Web Content Strategist to lead the planning, creation, and optimization of website content. You will ensure the Bank’s digital presence is engaging, on‑brand, and highly discoverable through SEO and GEO strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of website features to raise the Bank’s profile and improve content discoverability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address business needs and advise on website best practices.
• Oversee the full content lifecycle from ideation through launch.
• Conduct competitive research and data analysis to identify new feature opportunities.
• Create wireframes to visually communicate feature concepts.
• Perform SEO/GEO research and develop an annual SEO/GEO strategy.
• Maintain consistency in tone, style, and quality across all web content.
• Conduct content audits, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Manage the Web Content Strategy backlog and roadmap, prioritizing stakeholder requests.
• Lead feature‑planning workshops and manage project delivery for program increments.
• Monitor web traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics to guide future development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Information Technology or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in content strategy, digital strategy, product, marketing, or digital communications.
• Proven project‑management experience; PMP certification is a plus.
