Warehouse Worker – Material Handling (1st Shift)

About the role

Alfa Laval’s Richmond manufacturing facility is hiring a 1st‑shift Warehouse Worker focused on material handling and GPHE operations. You will support production by moving, picking, staging and delivering parts while following standard operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Receive daily work assignments from the Team Leader and execute material handling, picking, staging, replenishment, and delivery activities.
• Coordinate with the Team Leader and Inventory Control to resolve material flow, picking, and inventory discrepancies.
• Safely operate forklifts, order pickers, manlifts and reach trucks to transport material, equipment, or product.
• Maintain orderly staging areas and support the flow of materials between the warehouse and production lines.
• Participate in Daily Status Board meetings and 5S routines, reporting deviations and suggesting improvements.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in materials, warehousing, or manufacturing.
• Experience operating forklifts; forklift certification preferred.
