Warehouse Worker

About the role

The Warehouse Worker supports the Motor Pool department by managing inventory, handling shipments, and ensuring that supplies are readily available for university operations. This is a day‑shift, on‑site position within the University of Arkansas at Monticello campus.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records for incoming and outgoing supplies and materials.
• Notify supervisors when items need to be reordered to keep stock levels adequate.
• Fill requisitions, restock shelves and bins, and organize items in the storage area.
• Unload shipments, inspect for damage, and verify packing slips against invoices.
• Deliver shipments to designated locations according to schedule.
• Assist with the upkeep of the work area, equipment, and vehicles, including maintaining vehicle records and dispatching vehicles.
• Perform related duties as assigned, including occasional overtime or on‑call responsibilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Reliability to work under general supervision and follow safety procedures.
