Warehouse Worker

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Worker to support daily operations in a national building‑materials distribution centre. The role involves handling inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe, organised work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare orders by pulling materials, staging them for pick‑up or delivery, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Maintain health and safety compliance, wear protective gear and steel‑toed boots at all times.
• Control inventory by minimizing damage and verifying order accuracy.
• Organise bin locations and keep the warehouse tidy.
• Perform routine equipment checks and ensure machinery meets company standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred; 1‑3 years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand or walk for most of the shift.
• Strong problem‑solving, multitasking and stress‑management skills.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
• Commitment to inclusive teamwork and high customer‑service standards.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Operation of standard warehouse machinery (e.g., pallet jacks, conveyors).
