Warehouse Worker – 2nd Shift (GPHE)

About the role

Our Richmond manufacturing facility is adding a 2nd‑shift Warehouse Worker (GPHE) to support material flow and keep production running smoothly. The role works 2:00 pm‑10:30 pm, Monday‑Friday, with overtime as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and deliver materials to workstations or designated locations efficiently.
• Respond promptly to internal department requests to maintain workflow continuity.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and report any safety, quality, or equipment deviations.
• Participate in daily status board meetings, explain deviations and propose solutions.
• Cross‑train in multiple pick units to provide flexible support.
• Identify waste‑elimination opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain 5S standards and use downtime for learning and process improvements.
• Operate forklifts and manlifts safely, including work at varying heights.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience handling materials in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Basic desktop computer and math skills, including ability to read a tape measure.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred; overhead crane experience a plus.
• Physical ability to stand or walk 80 % of the shift, lift up to 60 lb, and wear required PPE.
