Warehouse Worker – 1st Shift Material Handling

About the role

Our Richmond manufacturing facility is adding a 1st‑shift Warehouse Worker to support material handling operations. The shift runs from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday‑Friday, with overtime as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and deliver materials to workstations, responding quickly to internal department requests.
• Follow safety procedures, wear required PPE, and report any safety, quality, or equipment deviations on the digital status board.
• Assist the Team Lead with administrative tasks, coordinate reporting, and participate in daily status‑board meetings.
• Cross‑train across multiple pick units, suggest SOP improvements, and drive waste‑elimination initiatives.
• Operate forklifts and manlifts safely, work at varying heights, and maintain 5S standards.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of material‑handling experience.
• Basic computer and math skills, ability to read a tape measure.
• Prior manufacturing experience and forklift certification preferred.

Required skills

• Forklift operation certification.
• Manlift operation.
• Overhead crane operation (preferred).
• Basic desktop computer proficiency.
