Warehouse Operator I

About the role

Alcon’s Supply Chain team is seeking a Warehouse Operator I to support warehouse and distribution operations at its manufacturing facility in Texas. The role focuses on handling material flows, inventory, and shipments while ensuring safety and compliance with GxP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual and operational tasks in the warehouse and distribution center to maintain efficient processes.
• Optimize storage space and material flow while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Operate warehouse equipment, obtaining required certifications where applicable.
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures with minimal decision‑making authority.
• Ensure rigorous quality control and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate fluently in English.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM‑3:30 PM CST.
• Willingness to travel up to 10 % and work onsite.

Required skills

• Operation of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) – certification may be required.
• Basic inventory management and documentation skills.
