Warehouse Operative – Houston

About the role

Wilhelmsen Ships Services is seeking a dependable Warehouse Operative to join its team at the Pasadena, Texas facility serving the Houston area. The role ensures precise and efficient warehouse operations, supporting order fulfillment and preparation for shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders according to pick lists within required time frames.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Down‑stack products to their correct warehouse locations.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including attaching transport labels.
• Conduct incoming goods control, verifying products, quantities and labels.
• Participate in regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
• Transport packed goods to the appropriate dispatch area.
• Transfer inventory between local and regional locations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe and secure warehouse environment in compliance with company safety procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience (preferred).
• Forklift certification or ability to complete forklift training.
• Physical stamina to lift 85 + pounds repeatedly.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
