Warehouse Operations Systems Technician

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Warehouse Operations Systems Technician to support warehouse management system (WMS) implementation, configuration, and maintenance. The role ensures system performance, data integrity, and timely shipment of orders within the Supply Chain function.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and test WMS specifications to meet operational requirements.
• Maintain system updates, modifications, and documentation.
• Analyze user needs, translate them into functional requirements, and generate reports.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with system enhancements.
• Provide training and technical guidance to work‑group members.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate, on‑time order shipments.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience with warehouse systems.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• First‑shift schedule, Monday‑Friday 9 am‑6 pm.
• Travel requirement of up to 10 %.

Required skills

• Experience with RedPrairie, JDA or BlueYonder WMS.
• Knowledge of SQL and Oracle Database.
• Familiarity with Knapp Automation (preferred).
