Warehouse & Distribution Instructor

About the role

The Warehouse & Distribution Instructor delivers classroom instruction to student inmates at Emanuel State Prison and other correctional facilities. Working under general supervision, you will apply proven teaching methods to help learners acquire practical logistics and supply‑chain skills.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons on warehouse operations, distribution, and supply‑chain management.
• Prepare, administer, and grade assessments while maintaining accurate grade books and records.
• Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instruction to meet learning objectives.
• Maintain program compliance with Technical College System of Georgia policies and Georgia Department of Corrections regulations.
• Complete required reports, invoices, and inventory tracking for assigned property.
• Participate in professional development and collaborate with college staff and correctional officials.
• Travel to the college campus, other correctional facilities, and sites within the service area as needed.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher in a logistics‑related field from an accredited institution.
• At least two (2) years of paid experience in supply‑chain, logistics, or warehouse distribution.
• Ability to follow approved syllabi, maintain records, and adhere to institutional policies.
