VP, Program Administration

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Program Administration leads the administration and operations of the Georgia Student Finance Commission’s scholarship, grant, and loan programs. This senior position ensures programs are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable laws and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the agency’s scholarship, grant, and loan programs.
• Direct Program Administration managers, set operational priorities, goals, and performance expectations.
• Oversee applications, originations, disbursements, reconciliations, loan servicing, and customer service functions.
• Collaborate with other divisions to implement new programs, legislative changes, and system enhancements.
• Serve as a senior subject‑matter expert on student aid administration and resolve complex operational issues.

Required profile

• Extensive leadership experience in program administration, preferably within education or financial aid.
• Deep knowledge of student financial aid regulations, scholarship and loan processes.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and drive operational excellence.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
