VP Global Finance & Controller

About the role

The Vice President Global Finance & Controller will lead Advitaortho’s worldwide accounting organization, ensuring accurate financial books, consolidation, and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Align departmental activities with organizational initiatives and collaborate across functions to support strategic financial objectives.
• Oversee a global team of accountants and analysts, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and preparation of accurate financial statements.
• Set individual goals for direct reports, manage hiring and terminations, and foster a culture of ethical compliance.
• Execute complex financial transactions such as debt financings, sale‑and‑leasebacks, and capital leases in partnership with the CFO.
• Maintain relationships with banking institutions and provide daily cash balances and cash‑forecast data to the CFO.
• Develop financial infrastructure to meet public‑company rigor, including Sarbanes‑Oxley internal controls.
• Identify control gaps, create policies and procedures, and serve as a technical accounting resource.
• Lead external audit engagements, coordinate preparation of audited financial statements, and manage the financial reporting calendar.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience leading global finance and accounting teams.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and public‑company reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to design and implement Sarbanes‑Oxley compliant internal controls.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in hiring, performance management, and mentorship.
• Track record of managing complex financing transactions and banking relationships.
