VP Director, Project Management

About the role

The Bloc is seeking a VP Director of Project Management to lead flawless, on‑time delivery of its health‑focused communications portfolio. Reporting to the SVP, this senior leader will oversee a team of Project Managers, coordinate cross‑functional efforts, and ensure stakeholder expectations are exceeded.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and supervise the workload of the project delivery team.
• Act as the primary escalation point for Senior Project Managers and department leads.
• Develop and maintain full‑year and individual project Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring accuracy of deliverables, assumptions, and estimates.
• Partner with Business Management, Resource Management, and Creative Services to allocate the appropriate talent across each scope.
• Apply superior conflict‑resolution techniques to maintain confidence across internal teams.
• Manage the project‑management methodology, lead complex projects, and support direct reports in delivering cost‑effective, timely implementations.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading project‑management teams in a fast‑paced agency environment.
• Strong financial and productivity management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to enforce best‑practice project‑management standards.
