VP Controller – Consulting Finance Leader

About the role

Bridgepoint Consulting is seeking a VP Controller Consultant to join its Financial Operations practice. In this senior position you will act as a strategic partner, delivering high‑level accounting and financial management services to fast‑growing companies across a range of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level financial management and accounting support to clients, including CFOs, CEOs and private‑equity partners.
• Assist companies in executing growth strategies, launching new initiatives and implementing scalable finance processes.
• Lead and manage client accounting departments, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls and financial models tailored to dynamic business environments.
• Travel within the local market and occasionally support national engagements.

Required profile

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller role.
• Bachelor’s degree; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Proven ability to lead accounting operations and drive process improvements.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to work in a consulting‑style environment and deliver exceptional client service.
