About the role

Ednovate is seeking a passionate Visual and Performing Arts (Music) Teacher to join its high‑performing, tuition‑free high schools in Southern California. You will design and deliver a rigorous, standards‑aligned music curriculum while mentoring a cohort of students throughout their high‑school journey.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement cutting‑edge digital music curriculum aligned with Common Core and NGSS standards.
• Teach instrument and vocal techniques, music theory, rhythm, and performance skills.
• Track student mastery using Ednovate’s data systems and adjust instruction based on data insights.
• Lead project‑based learning experiences that connect music to students’ passions and purpose.
• Serve as an advisor, providing one‑on‑one mentorship, reflection sessions, and support for promotion requirements.
• Contribute to a positive, solutions‑oriented school culture and collaborative team environment.
