About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Physical Therapy (PT) visiting student to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed PT. This short‑term placement offers hands‑on clinical experience in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care activities as assigned.
  • Follow treatment plans developed by the supervising PT.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes accurately.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings when required.

Required profile

  • Current enrollment in an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
  • Affiliation agreement with the accredited DPT program.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of placement.

Required skills

  • Basic clinical assessment techniques.
  • Knowledge of PT treatment modalities.
