Visiting OT Student – Campus Midtown

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a visiting occupational therapy (OT) student to join the Campus Midtown location. This position provides hands‑on clinical experience under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist within the MUSL Rehab Services Spine Center.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the licensed PT in delivering patient care and rehabilitation services.
• Participate in patient assessments, treatment planning, and documentation.
• Observe and learn clinical best practices in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Maintain compliance with safety and infection‑control protocols, including COVID‑19 vaccination requirements.

Required profile

• Current enrollment in an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Willingness to adhere to university policies, including vaccination or approved exemptions.
